This Privacy Policy describes how Chronos Labs (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the Android app Loan Calculator & Amortization (the “App”) distributed on Google Play.

By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Important: This policy applies to the Android app on Google Play. An iOS version of our product may have different features (for example accounts or subscriptions) and may be covered by a separate or combined policy. Always read the policy linked from the store listing and in-app Settings for the platform you are using.

2. What this App is (and is not)

The App is a free, ad-supported financial calculator for planning and education. It helps you estimate loan payments, interest, amortization schedules, and related planning tools.

The App:

Does not offer loans, broker loans, or collect loan applications
Does not provide financial, legal, tax, or mortgage advice
Does not make credit decisions or guarantee rates, eligibility, or approval
Produces planning estimates only — always confirm figures with your lender or a qualified professional

4. Information we process

4.1 Information you enter in calculators (financial planning inputs)

You may enter amounts such as:

Loan or property amounts, interest rates, terms
Down payments, fees, taxes, insurance, and similar planning fields
Income, debts, or other figures used by affordability / eligibility-style tools

How we use it: Only to compute results and show schedules, charts, and exports on your device.

What we do not do: We do not send these calculation inputs to Chronos Labs servers for storage, account sync, underwriting, or advertising profiling. If you use Share, PDF/CSV export, or similar features, the content you choose to export leaves the App under your control (for example via Android’s share sheet to apps you select).

4.2 Information stored locally on your device

The App may store on your device (for example via Android preferences / local storage):

Selected country / region and language
Appearance (theme) and other UI preferences
Ad consent / privacy form state (as provided by Google’s consent tooling)
Cached ad-routing decisions (which ad network to use)
Limited local flags such as launch count for app-open ads, or a cached “ad-free” entitlement state if you purchase Remove Ads

You can clear this data by clearing the App’s storage in Android system settings or uninstalling the App.

4.3 Device and network information (for ads, routing, and basic operation)

Depending on your region, device settings, and consent choices, advertising and related SDKs may process:

Android Advertising ID (AAID) and similar advertising identifiers
IP address / coarse location derived by ad networks (not precise GPS requested by our App)
Device type, OS version, app version, language, and network type
Ad interaction and performance data (impressions, clicks, fraud signals)

App permissions we declare:

INTERNET — load ads, ad routing, and optional online features
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — detect connectivity (for example whether to show online ads)

We do not request contacts, photos, microphone, camera, SMS, phone numbers, or precise location permissions for this App.

4.4 Ad network selection (ad routing)

To choose an ad provider for some regions, the App may make a lightweight HTTPS request to a server-side function (hosted on infrastructure we operate with Supabase).

That request is used only to decide ad routing (for example AdMob vs Yandex for a supported country). It does not include your loan amounts, rates, incomes, or calculation results.

4.5 Optional in-app purchase (Remove Ads)

When enabled in a given App release, you may purchase a one-time Remove Ads item:

Payment is processed by Google Play Billing (Google). We do not receive your full payment card details.
Purchase validation / restore may use RevenueCat, which may process purchase tokens, app user identifiers, and entitlement status.
No loan calculation inputs are sent to Google or RevenueCat for the purpose of running calculator math.

If Remove Ads is not enabled in your installed version, the App remains free and ad-supported only.

4.6 Support communications

If you email us (for example from Settings → Support or Report Ad), we receive whatever you include in the message (email address, device details you paste, description of the issue). We use this only to respond to support requests and improve the App.

5. Advertising partners and third parties

5.1 Google AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP)

We use Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to show banner, native, interstitial, rewarded, and app-open ads (depending on placement and release configuration).

Where required (for example EEA/UK and similar regions), we use Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain and manage consent / privacy choices for personalized ads.

In the App, eligible users can open ad privacy options under:

Google policies / info:

5.2 Yandex Advertising Network (regional)

In some countries (for example where our routing selects Yandex), ads may be served by the Yandex Mobile Ads SDK. Yandex components may include measurement / support libraries (such as AppMetrica components bundled with the ads SDK) for ad delivery, reporting, and fraud prevention.

If Yandex units are not configured or routing fails, the App falls back to AdMob.

5.3 Google Play and RevenueCat (purchases, when enabled)

Google Play processes payments and provides purchase receipts.
RevenueCat may validate entitlements so Remove Ads can be restored across reinstalls (when that purchase is enabled).

We require service providers to process data only as needed to provide their services to us, subject to their terms and applicable law.

6. How we use information

We and our partners use the information described above to:

Run loan calculations and tools on your device
Remember your preferences
Show ads and measure ad performance (free tier)
Comply with consent and privacy laws for ads
Route ads to an appropriate network by region
Process optional Remove Ads purchases and restore entitlement
Respond to support and abuse reports
Protect against fraud and abuse
Improve reliability and fix bugs

We do not sell your loan calculation contents. We do not use calculator inputs to train third-party AI models.

7. Legal bases (EEA/UK and similar)

Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on:

Contract / service delivery — providing calculator functionality you request
Legitimate interests — app security, fraud prevention, basic service analytics by partners where permitted, product improvement
Consent — personalized advertising and similar uses where required
Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose information by law

You may withdraw consent for personalized ads via in-app ad privacy options and device settings (where available). Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

8. Data sharing

We share information only as described in this policy:

With advertising partners (AdMob, and Yandex where used) to show and measure ads
With Google Play and RevenueCat for optional purchases (when Remove Ads is enabled)
With infrastructure providers that host ad-routing
With authorities if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security
With a successor entity if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (with notice where required)

We do not sell personal information as “sale” is commonly defined under US state privacy laws for monetary consideration of your calculator inputs. Advertising partners may process device identifiers for their own advertising purposes under their policies and your consent choices.

9. International transfers

We and our partners may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards (for example standard contractual clauses used by providers, or other lawful transfer mechanisms).

Because Android does not create a Chronos Labs user account for this App, there is no cloud account profile for us to delete for calculator history.

11. Your choices and rights

11.1 In the App

Clear app data or uninstall to remove local data

Limit ad personalization / reset advertising ID in Android settings
Control network access for the App in system settings

11.3 Privacy rights (where applicable)

Depending on your location (for example EEA, UK, California, and other regions), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Because most calculator data stays on your device, many requests are fulfilled by clearing app data or uninstalling. For other requests (for example support emails we hold), contact [email protected].

We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

12. Children’s privacy

The App is a financial planning tool intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Do not use the App if you are under the applicable age. If you believe a child has provided us personal information (for example via a support email), contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

This App is not designed for Google Play’s Designed for Families / child-directed programs.

13. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to a lightweight calculator app, including:

On-device processing of loan inputs for calculations
HTTPS for network calls (ads, ad routing, purchase validation)
Minimal permissions

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You use the App at your own risk regarding residual security risks.

14. Third-party links and shared content

The App may open external links (privacy pages, store pages, email clients, share targets). Those third parties have their own privacy practices. If you export or share a PDF, CSV, image, or text summary, the recipient apps and services you choose are outside our control.

15. Do Not Track

The App does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals. Ad personalization is governed by Google UMP / device ad settings and partner controls described above.

16. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy at this URL and change the Last updated date. Material changes may also be highlighted in the App store listing or in-app notice where appropriate.

Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy, to the extent permitted by law.
