These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Android app Loan Calculator & Amortization (the “App”) provided by Chronos Labs (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The App

The App is a free, ad-supported financial calculator for planning and education. It helps you estimate loan payments, interest, amortization schedules, and related planning tools.

The App is not:

A lender, broker, bank, or credit provider
A source of financial, legal, tax, or mortgage advice
A guarantee of rates, eligibility, approval, or product availability

All results are planning estimates only. Always verify figures, fees, eligibility, and terms with your lender or a qualified professional before making decisions.

2. Eligibility

You must be old enough to use Google Play and enter a binding agreement in your country (and at least 13 years of age, or the higher age required where you live). The App is intended for adults and is not directed to children.

3. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial planning purposes, subject to these Terms and Google Play’s terms.

You may not:

Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App except as allowed by law
Reverse engineer the App except where mandatory law permits
Use the App to build a competing service by scraping or bulk automated extraction
Misrepresent App outputs as official bank quotes, credit decisions, or professional advice

4. Accounts

The Android App does not require an account and does not provide cloud-synced user profiles for calculations. Preferences are stored on your device.

5. Ads and optional purchases

5.1 Advertising

The free App may display ads (for example Google AdMob, and Yandex in limited regions). Ad-related data practices are described in our Android Privacy Policy.

5.2 Remove Ads (when offered)

If available in your version, you may purchase a one-time Remove Ads item via Google Play Billing. Purchases are processed by Google; we do not receive your full payment card details. Refunds are governed by Google Play’s refund policies.

There is no subscription required to use core calculators in the Android ads-supported design.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the App for unlawful purposes
Interfere with the App’s operation, security, or other users
Attempt to manipulate advertising systems fraudulently
Submit abusive, harassing, or unlawful content via support channels

We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms.

7. Intellectual property

The App, including its design, text, graphics, and software (excluding third-party open-source components under their licenses), is owned by Chronos Labs or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.

8. Third-party services

The App may integrate third-party services (ads, billing, routing). Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Google Play’s terms also apply to distribution and billing.

9. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that calculations are error-free, complete, or suitable for any particular loan product or jurisdiction. Country rules, tax estimates, and eligibility benchmarks are simplified planning aids and may lag regulation changes.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHRONOS LABS AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP OR RELIANCE ON ANY ESTIMATE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (IF ANY) OR (B) USD $50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.

11. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify and hold Chronos Labs harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Privacy

Our Android Privacy Policy explains how we handle information. By using the App, you also acknowledge that policy.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a new version at this URL and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance, to the extent allowed by law. Material changes may also be noted in the Play Store listing where appropriate.

14. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may stop providing the App or features at any time. Provisions that by nature should survive (disclaimers, liability limits, IP) will survive termination.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Chronos Labs’ principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply and cannot be waived.
